When I say burger, I always choose the famous chain burger restaurant, M or BK. My most favorite off course M burger. I think it is because of memories. Once I was a child, my parents will buy me a burger when I had something to celebrate. Therefore, it was always felt special.

Later, I understood that the burger price was expensive for my family. When I can afford to buy, the burger was not really special. I mean for the quality and the taste. There are many burgers out there that are more delicious yet affordable.

Like what I found on social media recently. I spot a street burger near my house. Basically, I love burger. Therefore, I find a time to visit the shop.

It is called Equil’s Burger which is located at Jl. Karang Menjangan no. 35 Surabaya. They open from 12 pm until drop. When I saw at social media, it was quite crowded. I decided to come after the sun down.

I expected they had built-in-booth on the street. In fact, they were inside a coffee shop (warkop). When in daylight, they will sell the burger in front of the coffee shop. While in the night, they will build their own booth on the street. Make sense, because Surabaya was really hot in the afternoon.

I ordered 3 burgers, double cheese burger, special burger, and new menu, The Jam’s. They claimed their patty was homemade. They cooked the patty in front of us. I thought it was a satisfying moment when you saw people cook for you.

Let’s tried! The size of the burger was not too small. It was enough for me. However, if you ate a lot, you must at least have two burgers.

I ate The Jam’s. The bread was soft and patty was so good. It combined with caramelized onion, and their sauce. Overall, the taste tended to sweet because it used honey sauce.

When I tried the other burgers, it was also yummy. The price was also affordable. Each burger around 20K. When I came here, there was no line. I think you better came around evening to get the burger. Definitely come back later!
