My 5 Best Indonesian Chain Coffee Shops

The habit of drinking coffee in coffee shops is raising in Indonesia. Therefore, we can find a good coffee in every corner nowadays. I also like to drink coffee at coffee shops. Not only for the coffee, but also for the vibes. I like to hangout or doing nothing at coffee shops.
The first reason I choose coffee shop and come back again is the coffee of course. I personally like arabica and can not drink robusta. After I drink full robusta bean, my stomach will be unhappy. I still can drink the blend of arabica robusta. But perhaps only 80 : 20 for Arabica : Robusta. If arabica less than that, I can not. Therefore, my coffee shop preferences mostly used Arabica.
Here are my top tier coffee shop chain originated from Indonesia.

Fore
This is my number 1 option. I like their latte or other variants of coffee and milk based. Sometimes I choose their non coffee drink, like strawberry ice blended. I also like their outlet design. It is mostly white and looks clean. Every counter I come, especially at plaza, it always feel comfy. Really suitable for me who likes to hangout or just doing nothing and sipping coffee.
Tuku
I still hesitate to put Tuku at number two because their coffee is also good as Fore. I like their famous Kopi Susu Tetangga (KST) and hot latte. Their line always explain how good their drinks. I put Tuku at number two because they still had a little place for hangout. I understand their concept is coffee to go, but coffee for me is a me time. I like doing nothing and sipping coffee. I also like their snacks, like carrot cake, donut, or cookies. I know that Tuku already open the bigger cafes for hangout. Since it is limited, it is always crowded. Hopefully, soon they will open many cafes.

Jco
I know it is going to be very subjective. I like to hangout at Jco outlet at Purwakarta. Their place is really big and comfy. Their best place is the outdoor seat. The ceiling was so high, so it will not feel hot even in a hot weather. Actually, I never ask about their beans. Later, I know, they use 100% Arabica. No matter I like it. My favorite is their hot latte. I lived at Purwakarta for about a year. And if I want a place to hangout, I will be here.
Point Coffee
This is a savior, when I don’t have much money but still want good coffee. Indomaret is really smart to have this. Point coffee is easy to get because they are everywhere. Even when I was at rest area Toll, I order this for my coffee. They also use full arabica beans. Therefore, I am suitable with the menu. However, I always order the fresh one. Not coffee in the bottle. Because it was too sweet for me. I like the custom one.

Janji Jiwa
I like Janji jiwa for their latte or kopi susu. Sometimes I order their sweet coffee. I also like their toast and the food. From cireng to the noodle, everything is good for the food.
