If you are fans of Mie G*coan, you’ll gonna love Tsuka Ramen. Both of them provide noodle with side dishes, drinks, large places, and self-service. And off course, affordable.

The different is Tsuka Ramen’s serve ramen and they do not have ramen with spicy level.

At first, I passed through in front of the building, I thought it was expensive. I assumed from the design and the bigger place for parking. Later, my acquaintance told me that it was around 20K per portion.

Therefore, last weekend we came to the Tsuka Ramen at Jalan Manyar Kertoarjo no. 24 Surabaya. Actually, they already have some branches in some towns in Indonesia. For instance, in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Tangsel, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Pekanbaru.

We came in the afternoon, so it was not really crowded. There are many places to sit. The dining area was quite big. There are many tables you can choose indoor. Many cloths with Japanese letter hanging around the chairs. It reminded me of Japan street food.

We should order and pay first before we sit. All the ramen uses tori paitan broth. Tori paitan is chicken broth for ramen. Ramen usually made with pig broth. Since, it was forbidden for Moslem, they change with chicken broth.

They have some variants ramen taste like miso, original, volcano, and red ninja. The last two are spicy. Unfortunately, I did not brave enough to taste the spicy one. Because the picture of the broth is really red. Looks terrifying for me.

We ordered Miso Tsuka Ramen Komplit and Original Tsuka Ramen Komplit. It came with grilled chicken, half egg, and nori as topping. The broth was creamy, tasty, and warm my stomach. Chicken was soft and easy to eat. And it was around 20K!

If you want cheaper, you can choose the basic variants. The topping only three slices of chicken, but the rest is the same. Ramen with good taste and affordable price, who will reject that? Definitely come back later!
