Part 2 Karimunjawa: Perfect Sunset!

In the Karimunjawa, our tour guide gathered and shared us based on the lodging. There were honeymoon suite, luxury hotel, until hostel like us. We stayed in the local’s house. Some local rented their room for tourist like us. 1 room consisted of 2 until 3 people.

I was with two of male friends. Automatically, they were in the same room. I was ready to choose with other female guest, but another female guest went with her boyfriend. Of course she chose to stay with his boyfriend. Therefore, I was alone in my room. Yey!

Our host was really friendly. They have already cooked for us. The food was really delicious. Nothing can beast local food! They said it was usual for them to have some guests since Karimunjawa became one of the tourist destination. They also did not care about the ID card. They just believed with the tour guide.

Most of them was Javanese and suddenly I felt like home. It was different feeling when I was in Gili Trawangan. In there, I felt like stranger because most of them was foreign people.

After eating, we walked around. My host said it was the best time to have sunset on the beach. Of course we agreed. Beach and sunset was a perfect combination. Then, we walked to the beach. I saw that some of the guests have the same idea.

In the beach, some boats were leaned. I also saw hospital boat. I think that boat provided medical treatment for locals, since we lived in the island. The goods should buy at Jepara and bring with the boat. No wonder the price were more expensive.

At 6 pm, the electricity was down and it will be on again at 6 am. Therefore, we should be wise to use it. However, nowadays I heard that the electricity has already 24 hours. Good to heat that.

Oke, since many people started to come and saw sunset, we should chose the best spot. Not hard to find since it was beautiful from everywhere. Then we just sat and waited. Our camera was ready to the position, ready to click in any minutes.

Here it came. The most dramatic movie by God, sunset. It was only 5 minutes, but the time was like stopped. By the time the sun was eaten by the sea, we still quite and got used to with the darkness. What a magic moment.

Then, we stand up and went away. It was time to sleep.
