We like to staycation at hotel for quick escape on weekend. One point plus to choose the hotel is the swimming pool. That’s why we like to stay at Quest Hotel at Surabaya.

It is located at Jalan Ronggolawe No.27 - 29 Surabaya. It is near city center. Therefore, it is easy to reach and close to tourist spots, such as many cafes and food center, Tunjungan Plaza the biggest mall in Surabaya, and some historical buildings.

What else do you need when staycation? Delicious food off course! We like to stay at hotel where many culinary spots. One of our favorite restaurants is Mie Mapan. And we just need to walk from Quest Hotel.

I and my husband like to hang out and drinking coffee. At the area, there are many cafés or coffee shops. In the morning, we like to have simple breakfast and coffee at Xiang Jia Kopitiam. While in the afternoon or meeting friends, we like to hang out at PSI Coffee & Spiku.

Our children’s favorite absolutely the pool. They like to play water, swimming, or having fun with other children they met at pool. It is also a semi-indoor pool, so you do not need to worry about the hot weather of Surabaya.

The room is also comfortable. I can say this is an upgraded budget hotel. For double bed room you just have to pay not less than 400K (July 2025), without breakfast. They also provide hair dryer which is rarely for budget hotel to give that facility.

It is highly recommended for staycation, family, or business trip. We will come back later.
